Normally when an inspirational post is presented, it is focused on aesthetics. This time I would like to present a PSD to HTML service that has for its slogan “Code is art” – and the pages coded by them are surely beautiful hmtl pieces of code.

When you are going to start a new business or revamp a company’s image, the first thing you need (after selecting a brand name) is a logo. And that could be a long quest, especially when you’re trying to find the right graphic designer at an affordable price. Fortunately you can design your own free logos online that may help you in that not-easy-at-all quest.

A nice option that’s worth a try is freelogoservices.com where you can create your own logo using their logo maker, using the one of the many logo templates they offer. To design your logo, register at the site. You can choose a logo design from a variety of logo templates, then personalize it with your brand name and colors. You’ll receive your logo via email in gif format.

American Design Awards is calling for entries for its Semi-Annual Design Contest. The summer deadline will be on August 15th with a grace period until August 31st. The winter deadline in on February 15th with a grace period until March 1st. The contest is open to graphic and web designers from around the world.

Design a Zen Habits T-shirt or Mugzenhabits contest

The well-known zenhabits blog is looking for a zen designer to produce a logo/image to put on a Zenhabits T-shirt or mug. The contest has just been opened today and will last a week until February 4, 2008. It has a GC for the first place.
