14 Vector Floral Ornaments

I am so glad I could finally find original vintage ornaments and they are really old ones. They come from a 1878 poetry book, yes I know, veryyy old.

It is amazing to apreciate the richness of illustration in books at that time. In the absence of photography and graphic design; there was illustration to comunicate and it was done beautifully.

Here they are 14 vector floral ornaments for you guys. Some of them are not that clean but I think they still can be useful for your projects.

    I like the details of these floral ornaments. If you look some of these items at a distance, you’ll have an illusion of dragon pattern. Truly like it!

    I thought they were dragons! Oh, my! You are so right. LOL

    @ Su

    I don’t know, maybe it’s really just my imagination. LOL But, you could actually compare some items to the “4 Heraldic Vector Shields Pack” created by Mao.

  12. Su Hall February 24, 2010 at 8:16 am #

    @Andrew Davis

    Yes, I see the resemblance. LOL You could almost construct a shield with them, eh?

    Ornate design is intriguing to me. For no other purpose than to decorate, the designs have an historical significance as well as universal use, it seems.

    Cool!

    This is very vintage in my eyes. Any piece redone in this way will have a vintage look.
    That depends on how much you like it as well like that.

    I hope I will find similar ones to those on this page, for my new e-flower shop business.
    I want to do it a lot different from the sites in my country.
