I tried to download Graphisoft ArchiCAD 11, looks like they’re are up to version 15-
do your recommendations hold up with these versions? is there are comparable free version?

Brilliant list I have heard of a few of these already but there is some little gems in there. For a freelancer software like this is vital for us as some of the premium versions are stupid money.
