Having said that, I'm now in the "transition" phase they comment on the interview, and I agree with Chris: if you want to learn, get your hands on the dirt. What I've been doing, is developing a Joomla template with CSS only. Changing things here and there and then seeing the results. I'm still have a way to go, but as Richard Feynman said: "Until you practice it, you know nothing." I know a guy who did nightshifts just to fix all his clients websites after IE7 came up.
